The blockbuster video game franchise from Ubisoft finally hits the huge screen. Rather than brute a tackle adaptation of the sprawling storylines across the various games, this film tells an native tale that is set within the world of the games.

Michael Fassbender plays Callum Lynch, a career criminal who is plucked from Death clash by undistinguished corporation Abstergo Industries. He is forcibly placed into the Animus Project, tapping into his genetic memories to relive the experiences of his ancestor by quirk of a virtual truth simulation.
